Statement

Farm Bureau and the local Jaycees hosted a HUGE candidate forum in Jonesboro. Mark West the LP Candidate for 1st District Congressman and I both spoke to a fair sized crowd. He is a dynamic speaker and a GREAT spokesman for libertarianism, the Libertarian Party and individual Liberty. I am going to have to work on my delivery if I am going to speak in places where Mark is also speaking!

Mark's opponent, Rick Crawford, was less-than-spectacular. He spoke down to the audience and sounded like a typical Republican running for reelection in a district in which the Democrats didn't even nominate a candidate. Crawford insinuated that balancing the budget sounded good and all, but that really it wasn't possible or important at this time.

No wonder we are 19 trillion dollars in debt with no end in sight. The fiscally "conservative' party's unopposed candidate is unwilling to even ACT like he is a fiscal conservative. We KNOW how he will continue to vote as the budget bloats, deficits drone on and our children and their children are being saddled with a debt the benefits of which they will never enjoy and the possibility of being paid off brings the mind to hyperinflation or default.

Whatever it takes we have GOT to get Mark elected and retire morons like Crawford!
